UIL Debate Team Begins Season
UIL CX Debate team at Princeton.

The LHS Cross Examination Debate team kicked off the season on September 25at Princeton High School. This was the first of several invitational meets that will lead up to the District competition in the spring.

Results: Out of 21 teams, Rory Dulock (who competed as a maverick) tied for 3rd with the Lindsay team of Mary Doughty and Hayden Ellender. The freshman team of Campbell Corcoran and Abby Brennan came in sixth while sophomore Maya Dulock and Kyler Henegar placed seventh.

Congratulations to Jackson Blackmon and Maggie Krahl on winning 1st Place at the District UIL Cross Examination Debate contest held January 30. They have qualified for the State CX Debate contest!

LHS Students Do Well at Home Meet
Lindsay UIL meet top point winners
Members of the High School UIL Science team made their presence known at the Lindsay Invitational Meet on January 11 by winning first place team and several individual awards. High point individual was Aryan Vig, Jack Gomulak was second, Jackson Blackmon third, Kathryn Worth fifth, Michael Sprouse sixth. The top biology student was Trenton Blount, top chemistry was Aryan Vig, and top physics went to Gage Bezner.
