Senior Walk is History

Child Development Class Reads to Kindergarten

2022 Prom is History
Lindsay High School held the 2022 prom on April 9 at the Gainesville Civic Center. Kirtan Patel and Trinity Williamson were crowned Prom King and Queen. We have photos of the event in these galleries:

A&P Classes Make Brain Hats
Students in Mrs. Barnhill's Anatomy and Physiology classes made brain hats in April. The purpose of the exercise was to study the lobes of the brain and the cerebral cortex.
Floral Class Creates Arrangements
Students in Mrs. Lee’s Floral Design class were busy in the days before St. Valentine’s Day, creating the arrangements that would be distributed later.

Toy Drives Nets Big Haul
In the 10th Annual Lily’s Gifts of Hope Toy Drive, LHS students brought over 200 gifts to donate to children fighting cancer at Cook Children’s Medical Center.
Meurer Sets Record at Lewisville
LHS Junior Dayne Meurer set the Junior Lake Record on December 4 with his 9.94 pound bass, caught at Lake Lewisville. Dayne caught the fish at the Texas High School Bass Association competion.
English II Students Learn and Have Fun

Williamson Crowned Homecoming Queen
LHS Senior Trinity Williamson was crowned Homecoming Queen at the halftime ceremony on October 15. She was escorted by Jackson Blackmon and crowned by last year’s queen, Lauren Colwell. We have a photo gallery of the Homecoming ceremony here.

Seniors Engage in Debates
Students in Ms. Branch’s Senior Government class participated in debates over the most effective Presidents. The students conducted a “Sweet 16” debate in which they debated over a list of 16 Presidents in US History.
Students Enjoy Game Day Tradition
A group of cheerleaders and football players took their turn at greeting the elementary students on September 24.
The Friday Tradition Continues
On September 17, the elementary students were treated to the usual morning greeting from cheerleaders and football players.
JH Students Enjoy Guest Speaker
On September 15, the Fisheries, Wildlife and Ecology Management Class had a guest speaker. Pond King’s Senior Fisheries Biologist Garrett Lee came and taught the 7th grade about fish, their habitat and population management.

Students Visit Washington
Lindsay schools had a group of 14 students who visited Washington, D.C., Gettysburg, and Mount Vernon recently. The group also included parents, teachers, and students from three other schools. Photo gallery.
