Bass Fishing Team Begins Season

The Lindsay High School Bass Fishing Team started their season at Lake Lewisville on September 19. They had a great day with 3 teams placing in the top 15 and a 3rd Place overall team finish:
Derek Parsons/Dawson Foster - 7th
Nick Wolf/Kane Wolf - 9th
Dayne Meurer/Corey Metzler - 13th

Bass Fishermen Qualify for State
Bass team state qualifiers

The LHS Bass Fishing team had four members qualify for the State Meet. Congratulations to Henry Thurman, Derek Parsons, Nick Schmitz, and Jacob Dulock. The State meet was scheduled for July 25-26 at Lake Belton but has been canceled.

Congratulations to Lindsay FCCLA students, Riya Dax, Ella Dieter, and Macey Hawkins for winning GOLD at the National FCCLA contest in Food Innovations Level 2!! Great job by the ladies and their sponsor, Mrs. Robyn Hedrick!

Lindsay High School held prom on June 6 at the Gainesville Civic Center. Seniors Kaylee Colwell and Jake Metzler were named Queen and King, and students enjoyed the evening of food, friendship, and dancing. We have photos of the fun here:
