Veterans Day Celebration 2007 "Patriotism...is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady deication of a lifetime." Quote by Adlai Stevenson The Student Council, along with the Elementary Students and Staff, presented the Veterans Day Program to the school and community on Monday, November 12, 2007. Honoring military veterans, students of Lindsay Independent School District, such as Joey Block, Danielle Hogan, Taylor Horn, and Lucinda Krahl presented information about Veterans Day. Songs including "God Bless America" and "I'm Proud to Be an American" were sung, and overall, the celebration was an excellent tribute to all of the veterans of the United States.
