• Books Reading and Language Art Skills for the week

    Monday- Students are introduced to the "Story of the Week" and spelling patterns.

    Students view a question of the week video, spelling sounds charts, and view high frequency words

    through partner reading decodable stories.

    Tuesday-  Students and teacher read "Story of the Week" together and discuss and review new vocabulary and sounds.

    Wednesday- Students learn new content of reading such as charcter, setting, and content and comprehension skills.

    Thursday- Students review and introduce new grammar skills such as nouns, pronouns, verbs, and adjectives.

    Friday- Students are assessed through spelling and vocabulary sentence test and reading comprehension skills.
